Power & Pause with Sam and Felicity
We LOVED our Friday night charity class last month and have decided to make this a more regular feature to raise money for our chosen charities. This month’s charity is close to Sam’s heart. Her niece Remi was born with a rare genetic condition called 1p36. It’s so rare that not much is known or understood about it, and as you can imagine this can feel overwhelming to the family as they learn how best to support and care for their child.
The 1p36 Family Trust was founded in 2008 as a way to connect families in the UK. Since then the charity has grown and been devoted to supporting children & adults affected by 1p36 Deletion Syndrome. They organise conferences to share research and best practises concerning management of symptoms, treatment and educational content about the condition.
Sam is running the Royal Parks half marathon in October with Remi’s Dad, and other families supported by the trust, to raise funds and awareness for the charity to allow them to keep doing this pioneering work. So.. SORRY team you need to put up with Sam moaning about her running for a little longer!
On Friday 2nd October join Sam and Felicity for an extended 90 minute class
Sam will bring the energy for her 45 minute Strength session! This full body workout will focus on progression though the weights leaving you feeling strong and energised. Felicity will then take over for 45 minutes of Yin Yoga leading into Yoga Nidra for deep and nourishing relaxation. The perfect Friday night really.
The class is donation based so please donate directly to the 1p36 Family Trust below
