I’m a beginner, which class should I attend? Our classes are all suitable for all levels, and our instructors will support you throughout if you are new to exercise. If you are new to yoga we would suggest that you start with our slow classes to familiarise yourself with the practice. We will also be introducing a beginners course in the near future to establish the foundations of yoga, so that you can move safely and confidently through our flow classes. Watch this space or follow us on Instagram for our updates!
I’m pregnant, which classes are suitable for me? We ask that women less than 12 weeks pregnant do not attend classes. Beyond that, our co-founders Sam and Jessica are specifically trained to teach prenatal students, and so please contact us directly to determine which sessions would be most suitable for you: firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 07376 175 377
What do I need to bring? We pride ourselves on the quality of our mats and equipment so there is no need to bring your own. Just bring yourself and some comfortable clothing you can move in.
How big are your classes? We don’t like classes that are bursting at the seams and our little studio doesn’t either. Our classes will never be more than ten people, to ensure our teachers can offer the best level of support and none of our students feel overlooked. So make sure you book in advance to secure your spot!
Do you have showers and changing rooms? We have two shower rooms and a separate changing room on site. Towels can be rented for £2 if required.
What are your opening times? move will be open at least 15 minutes before every class begins and we will often be there throughout the day if you want to come and visit. We would love to meet you! However please be aware that we will not admit latecomers after the class has started so please make sure you arrive on time.
What is your cancellation policy? Classes can be cancelled up to 6 hours before the start time to receive a full refund - this must be done online. Cancellations received less than 6 hours in advance will be non transferable and non refundable.
What if I need to reschedule? If you want to change the class you are booked onto, you must cancel that session and re-book an alternative online via Acuity Scheduling. This must be done at least six hours in advance of the class start time, in line with our cancellation policy outlined above.
Where are we? move is located just south of the lovely Victoria Park, beside the bustling Roman Road market. We are situated on the first floor of the large Abbott’s building but our separate entrance is just around the corner on Dane Place, London E3 5EJ
On foot and cyclists: We have a large stairwell for safe bike and buggy storage, so you may bring these inside and leave them at the foot of the stairs. Please do not bring any bicycles upstairs as we do not have space for them in the studio.
Under and Overground: Our closest tubes are Mile End and Bow Road which are both a 10-15 minute walk. Bethnal Green / Hackney Wick / Homerton are the nearest overground stations which are all either a 25 minute walk or a short bus ride away. Bow Church is our closest DLR stop and is a 15 minute walk.
Bus: Both the number 8 and 339 stop just outside the studio (the bus stop is named Ford road). The 488, 276, 277 and D6 will all also bring you within five minutes walk.
Car: There is no parking on Dane Place but free parking is available on the surrounding streets before 8:30am and after 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday. There is also a small paid car park run by Tower Hamlets council on the junction of Roman Road and St Stephens Road.
