Terms & Conditions move retreat 24-26 May 2024

By the use of our website and attendance of our retreat you are agreeing to be bound by any posted guidelines, FAQs, or rules applicable to such services, which may be modified from time to time. Our current Terms will always be available on our website.

Please read through the terms and conditions thoroughly before attending the retreat.

  • Your place will be confirmed once we have received your bank transfer for the full amount of the retreat. In doing so, you must accept the below outlined Liability Waiver.

  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend the retreat for any reason, so that we can attempt to fill your place and provide a full refund. However please be aware this is not guaranteed and so we advise that you purchase holiday insurance to cover this trip.

  • Teachers sometimes change at short notice; no refunds or exchanges will be given if there is a cover teacher leading a class.

  • Your transport to and from the venue is not included in the retreat costs. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for the activities.

  • We are not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.

Liability Waiver

I have voluntarily enrolled in the May 2024 retreat offered by move studio london. I recognise that classes during the retreat may involve strenuous physical activity including, but not limited to, muscle strength and endurance training, cardiovascular conditioning and training, and other fitness activities.

I confirm that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known disability or condition which would prevent or limit my participation in such fitness classes. I have been advised that an examination by a physician should be obtained by anyone prior to commencing exercise or initiating a substantial change in the amount of regular physical activity performed. If I have chosen not to obtain prior physician’s consent, I hereby agree that I am doing so solely at my own risk. I understand that it is my sole responsibility to participate in exercises that are appropriate for the current status of my health.

I agree not to hold move studio london responsible for the actions or omissions of the other retreat
participants.  I have been informed, understand, and am aware that strength, flexibility, and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment, are potentially hazardous activities. I also have been informed, understand, and am aware that fitness activities involve a risk of injury and that I am voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment with full knowledge, understanding, and appreciations of the dangers involved.

I hereby waive and release move studio london and its successors and assigns, from any and all claims, costs, liability and expense for any injury, loss or damage, to person or property, whether known, anticipated or unanticipated arising from my voluntary participation and enrolment.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE THOROUGHLY READ THIS FORM IN ITS ENTIRETY AND
FULLY UNDERSTAND IT. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT CONTAINS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND THAT BY ACCEPTING IT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN RIGHTS I OR MY SUCCESSORS MIGHT HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION OR ASSERT A CLAIM AGAINST MOVE STUDIO LONDON

I have read and understood both the Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver located at www.movestudiolondon.com/tcs and by making a bank deposit fr the payment of the retreat I confirm my acceptance of these terms.

Health Check

Please review the questions below and answer them honestly. If you answer “Yes” to one or more of the below questions, please DO NOT come to class and consult your GP before engaging in physical activity. Tell your GP which questions you answered “Yes” to. After a medical evaluation, seek advice from your GP on what type of activity is suitable for your current condition.

  • Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only perform physical activity recommended by a doctor?

  • Do you feel pain in your chest when you perform physical activity?

  • In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not performing any physical activity?

  • Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness? 

  • Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?

  • Is your doctor currently prescribing any medication for your blood pressure or for a heart condition?

  • Do you know of any other reason why you should not engage in physical activity?
